    V11

Have had the wheel for 3 days. First EUC, so can’t compare to any other. Very impressed with quality thus far. Seems to be easy to use, as my wife, son and I each took about 20 minutes to gain the ability to ride around in a grass-covered outdoor ice rink. We used the boards to help us balance at first. Looking forward to gaining skill and confidence for longer rides around town and river valley trails. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

    Great ride, bad app

I'm biased for giving 5 stars as this is the only EUC I have/been on. The learning curve is interesting and definitely not days if you have some balance and do other sports. The app for the inmotion itself is not that great, there are other that works well out there. I'm very impressed with the light, it looks like the sun is coming up when I turn it on.. Get it, you won't regret it.

    V11

This has been the best Wheel I have rode. I am definitely an EUC enthusiast, I have owned an AirWheel I think it was called the X8, and I own a V8 as well as the V11 now, I commute from DT Toronto to Etobicoke every day, so smooth, so nice! fast enough for the riding I am doing, it is a dream!

    V11

PROS: My first EUC. I almost went for a beginner wheel based on internet comments but I'm glad I didn't - this wheel is surprisingly easy to get the hang of riding. I started on a local concrete slab (hockey rink) with boards around the edges so I could hold onto something while I found my balance. A fair bit of trial and error but there are some great beginner videos online that give good advice. Practiced getting on and off a lot to make that natural and easy. I dumped it three times but eventually got up and stable. Scratched up the fittings a little, but all cosmetic. Wearing knee pads with the padding on the inside of my knees was a good idea. My first few ride attempts banged up and bruised the inside of my right knee (ice packs helped). Developed some confidence in mounting and dismounting so now I've been out riding on some local roads and gravel trails. Amazingly fun. I speed-limited the wheel to 15KPH for now so I don't get ahead of myself and wear full protective gear (helmet, wrist protectors, elbow and knee guards, heavy jeans, boots). CONS: Only issue so far is some trouble getting the air suspension pumped up to the right PSI. The tiny hand pump just hasn't made any headway but I guess I'll just keep working at it. Overall, this is an incredible product. Granted I've only had it for a week and been out for a total of only about 3 hours, but it is so much fun. I'm hoping to get comfortable enough to ride some local, relatively flat trails and possibly even commuting to work (14km away, rural roads). Thanks, InMotion. Wish me luck!

    Plush ride with annoying quirks

When set up correctly, this is an extremely plush ride. It would almost be the perfect cruiser wheel if wasn’t for some quirks. I didn’t experience any showstoppers yet, but 2nd ride there was some slight grinding noises and the included suspension pump wouldn’t engage the upper chamber valves properly. I’m pretty sure the grinding is not bearings, but a little debris behind the bearing shield. The suspension issue was solved with the purchase of a mountain bike suspension pump. I received a small credit from Smartwheel for the suspension issue, but I wish there was a more detailed response as improperly filled suspension is a safety hazard. So buyer be aware. I’m a newer rider, but I had no problem moving to this wheel from my KS 16s. A little learning curve to overcome, but well worth the effort.

    A solid city commuter

Not for big jump, but perfect for everything else. Solid performer, almost instant torque and speed, very practical suspension, great QC. Who's this for: mostly use it to travel to work while wants a very functional suspension system (trust me you do), then this is your wheel. If you are into doing crazy jumps then go for the S18 which you cannot be too aggressive otherwise the motor cuts out on you. If you have deep pocket and wants the best of both world then go for the S20 (best except the weight). Mind you that S18 is the lightest among the three mentioned here, so you get a sense of agility on the S18 (better than the V11), just that you cannot accelerate or decelerate too suddenly.
